Banging noises: Banging noises are usually caused by pressure in your pipes, which could lead to them bursting. This is a serious problem that could damage your home quickly if not remedied.
- Clicking or popping sounds: Chances are this is your radiator and it needs to be taken care of right away. Simply bleeding the steam out of your radiator will usually take care of this problem, though if you’re not familiar with the process you should consult a professional.
- Scratching sounds: Scratching sounds under or around your house very well could indicate that you have a problem with rodents or outdoor creatures. Take care of getting them out in a humane fashion before they take over your crawlspace or chewing your wires.
