- Cracked concrete: Avoid the ugly appearance of cracked concrete by applying concrete caulk to any cracks measuring less than 0.25 inches and applying concrete patch for larger cracks.
- Rust: Some paint additives enable paint to stick to rust while also neutralizing the problem and halting corrosion. For rust on fixtures, keep joints lubricated with light oil or silicon indoors and heavy grease outdoors, on fixtures such as gate hinges and latches.
